You May Have Noticed Some Changes
If you've been by The Brokenspoke lately, you may have seen a little more activity than usual and that's a good thing!
Under new management, we've been busy painting, redecorating, remodeling, refreshing rooms and common areas, and making improvements throughout the property. We're putting a lot of care into the details, with one simple goal: to make The Brokenspoke one of the cleanest, most comfortable and homiest places to stay in the area.
We want this to feel like more than just a place to sleep. Whether you're here for work, visiting family and friends, spending time at the lake, attending an event in the area, or staying with us for several weeks, we want you to feel comfortable and genuinely welcome.
And our guests are noticing. Recent visitors have described The Brokenspoke as "clean, cozy and comfortable," praised our comfortable beds and well-stocked common areas, and told us they "felt very at home." That's exactly the experience we're working to create.
We're proud of the progress we've made – and we're not finished yet. We'll continue investing in the property and finding new ways to make every stay better.

Pets
Because Brokenspoke North Dakota primarily serves extended-stay guests and work crews who may be away from the property for long periods during the day, pets are generally not permitted. This policy helps prevent animals from being left unattended for extended periods and protects guest rooms from damage, odors, allergens, and excessive cleaning needs.
Dogs may be permitted on a case-by-case basis with prior approval and payment of an additional non-refundable dog fee of $25 per day.
Dogs may not be left unattended for extended periods and must be properly supervised and controlled at all times.
Cats are not permitted under any circumstances.
Bringing an unauthorized pet onto the property or failing to comply with these requirements is a violation of Brokenspoke North Dakota’s guest rules and will result in immediate eviction without refund.
